I’m referring in particular to this series. By this I’m not alluding to the obvious economic and threats and other like problems of today, I’m referring to what lies ahead especially given this new administration. You are not as blunt as I am, and that is a good thing. You still get the Biblical message across in a very clear positive way.

My reading in the New Testament for today was also very encouraging:

“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;

who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.” Philippians 3:20

As much as I love our country, I realized in my heart of hearts quite a bit ago that the U.S. isn’t Zion. This is not Holy sacred untouchable ground. It struck me when during a prayer breakfast that then President and Mrs. Clinton along with the Gores attended. She was bold enough to stand there that morning and say something to the affect, “How can a country survive that slaughters their unborn?”

It struck me then – “Yeah, how CAN we survive?”

It stuns me that we have thus far!

I believe it is this very thing that has for years weakened the very fabric of our nation – the wholesale slaughter of millions of pre-born children every year.

So it is very, very wise indeed to plan ahead. I go even one step further. Since “cash” could very well end up being worthless – possibly look into other ways to prepare. This very moment it isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on, no less those papers that claim one’s investments are thus and so.

While our storehosues should be full of God first, we should then ask His guidance as to what practical things we can do in this world to prepare.

As always, well done Steve!
