In reply to Ned. Hi Ned, The unfortunate news regarding Mr. Pawson's prostate cancer was posted on May 30, 2016.Since then David has continued to teach and travel. David spoke at the Feast of Tabernacles celebration in Jerusalem in October, where he and wife Enid were honored for their lifetime of service together. As recently as December, David was teaching in Bath,England.

It is with great sadness that I just read the honorable bible teacher, David Pawson has advanced prostrate cancer that has now spread to his bones. It is inoperable. This was posted by a trustee in August 2016.

In listening to one of his youtube videos he mentioned he had “inoperable cancer” with indifference. I was horrified. I search the web and learned more.

All prayers are welcomed and needed. he is a wonderful man. Perhaps a miracle will happen. If not, pray that he is comfortable and surrounded by love.

Be careful or you may be considered a bit radical-thank you for being radical! Again, you hit the mark of truth and timing. Over the last year or two, your posts have been the biggest source of encouragement, truth, and inspiration to me. Thank you! This one is no different. A very close relative and I were eating at a restaurant recently, when all of the sudden the table next to us filled up with a Middle Eastern family. My very close relative who claims to be a “chrisitan” became instantly indignant and angry over this family. She was completely insulted that they have the freedom to work, live and play in our country knowing that they hate Americans and have a master plan to kill us all. The entire meal was a disaster as my close relative complained and stewed the entire time, ruining our fellowship and not to mention the dining scene which was sitting on a cliff over looking a beautiful lake. Meanwhile, the Middle Eastern family seemed to enjoy their dining experience. Whether my relative’s political view is true or not was not so much my concern. My concern was and is how she treated them being a “Christian” and all. At one point, the mother of the ME family was feeding her child and my relative said, “look, she’s feeding him and creating another monster” Can I just say how embarrassed and ashamed I was of my relative who is a “Chrisitan”. My point, which I later made, was that the political view may be true, but as a Christian, we have to view people differently and demonstrate such. That ME family was created in the image of God and God loves them just as much as He does me and my close relative. Also, the ME family may, just may be born again…who knows? And if they’re not, aren’t we suppose to witness to them about salvation? I don’t know, I just didn’t feel the love of Jesus at the whole scene. Pride…I think it would be fair to say that. Thank you again for writing…can’t wait for next week’s post.

pretty good.
I was thinking you should write christian sci-fi. you could start with private missionary efforts to NASA multinational inner solor system colonies in the 22nd century…..of course they’d need an astronaut version of the New Testament, which should have a truly long techno name, but would be affectionately called the gospel according to Steve, for it’s soon to be martyed author.

I/we are really looking forward to these next weeks with True Potential. Having been in banking for four years, then ministry for 35 years and now a Director of a business for the last 5 years (I have discovered a lot of peers who were in ministry are facing this scenario and new journey as well). By the way I know we are all full time Believers and I’m not creating the secular/spiritual divide by saying business and ministry – it’s just to explain. I too have looked at and read many of the “business” books for personal improvement and maximum achievement – but I am excited at what the next 12 weeks will unfold. This was one of your best articles. Maybe I like it so much because I bike, too, and my bike has been waiting in my basement for me all winter. As soon as I get my strength back from my Haiti illness I plan to jump on again. Six weeks ago I could barely walk across the room, and now I’m up to two miles a day . . . walking.

Excellent, excellent and thoughtful. As usual. I find that my outlook regarding lawyers and suing have become jaded. I find myself saying sometimes, “Now THAT’S a reason to sue…”
This was an excellent reminder for me to apply Godly principles, even when we are trespassed against, and that’s a hard thing to do. Forgive and let it all go too?? Tall order – but one we all should strive for. Well done!!

Dear Steve; I use google e-mail currently. It always runs a line ad on top of my inbox. Google in their nearly infinite computing, cross-referencing and consumer consuming power ran a line ad that they felt might appeal to me as I read your latest TPP weekly blog. It read, “Find a bicycle accident attourney in your area.”
Laughable, sure; scary, uh huh; sad, very.
I’m reminded of what the forest ranger in Arizona said after their catastrophic string of fire seasons., “When you let too much undergrowth spread uncut it provides the fuel for a firestorm. Add to that the proliferation of bugs that burrow into the trees and destroy their natural defenses and you provide the conditions for a holocaust. All it takes is onelightening strike.”
Our society/civilization certainly mirrors this depiction. It is almost overwheming to consider the “Eve of Destruction” scope. However I can tend my own small neck of the woods. Ben,
No of course I don’t think everyone who doesn’t believe in the Bible (more accurately the God of the Bible) lies, cheats and steals – but why shouldn’t they? What moral context should a person who doesn’t believe in a righteous God have? Do you love your neighbor because the evolutionary continuum requires it? Is morality a learned survival trait? I don’t think so. Without a moral God there’s no reason for men to practice morality.

We’ve known Wes and his family for many years and I had to laugh when I read that he started out to teach a young man English and ended up teaching a Bible class!! That’s Wes!! We were praying for him and his daughters, esp. after we heard about his sickness. God is Good!!!
